BURA’s study of broadband accessibility in the City of Buffalo is complete
BUFFALO, N.Y. (BURA) – The City of Buffalo is making strides in its commitment to addressing broadband connectivity concerns.
City of Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and the Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency (BURA), announce the completion of a comprehensive broadband study.
There are two aspects of the study, the first is the ‘Broadband Infrastructure Inventory Report.’ That report examines the existing infrastructure and outlines areas where better infrastructure is needed.
The second aspect of the study is the ‘Broadband Availability and Adoption Tool’ survey (BAAT). This aspect examines where broadband is physically available, how it is being used and identifies
issues with usage.
The reports along with an executive summary can be found here on BURA’s website and on the City of Buffalo’s website www.buffalony.gov.
